Meet Dr. Uyen Pham

On Being a Dentist

I am grateful and blessed to have found a career that allows me to help others. I strive to give each patient the highest level of quality dental care in a comfortable, efficient, and painless manner. It is essential that each person in my care is treated with compassion and provided the individual attention he or she deserves.

I love that I have the opportunity to meet and care for a variety of patients, each with different needs and concerns. Every person’s oral health is important to them, and it is to me, as well, so I work with individuals to find treatment options that work for their needs. I enjoy educating people about dental health issues and how best to maintain theirs, so they’ll have years of healthy teeth and smiles.

Personally and professionally, I feel most rewarded when a patient thanks me at the end of the visit, with a happy and healthy smile, and tells me they’re looking forward to seeing me again.

Education and Continuing Education

I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. That education provided me with an exceptional foundation of knowledge, but oral healthcare is constantly advancing and I must stay abreast of the developments. I love learning, and dentistry is a profession that requires a lifelong pursuit of new knowledge and skills.

I seek out and participate in continuing education opportunities at every chance. By keeping up with the newest materials, research findings, techniques, and technologies, I’m able to ensure my patients receive the best care possible.

Personal Life

I grew up in Los Angeles County and now live in Burbank. My life is shared with a delightful seven-year-old Chihuahua. When I’m not caring for my patients, I enjoy going for hikes with my dog, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family, especially if we’re trying new restaurants!

I also volunteer with the USC Mobile Dental Clinic and Care Harbor LA. It’s important to be active in the community to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Not only do I get to care for people, but I truly get to help them. At the end of the day, their appreciation and gratitude is so rewarding. When a person thanks me and leaves with a smile on their face, it puts a smile on my face, as well.
